With 25 years experience in marketing communications, Julia is a senior industry practitioner whose skills lie in strategic brand and communication planning. As Managing Director of Iconic Brand, Julia is an expert in integrated brand communications having forged her career in leading agencies such as JWT, Carat and The Media Business (now MediaCom) and leading consultancy, Barsby Rowe, working on a variety of SME to blue chip clients. Julia has both a broad and deep knowledge of all marketing disciplines and passionately believes that research and creative insight provide the cornerstones of an effective and efficient brand strategy.

Jamie has 20+ years experience, managing conceptual and creative briefs across all media and aspects of the design, branding and graphic communications process. Jamie believes that flexible, complete and coherent ideas are the key to our clients’ success.
Phil’s many skills in all facets of web development mean we are able to offer clients a full online package. This typically includes front-end design and build to meet web standards, small-large scale flash application development and content management systems using PHP/MYSQL. Specialisms are Flash animation, Flash ActionScript programming/Development, Muti-style Graphic Design, PHPMYSQL back-end development and integration, Front-end CSS/XHTML builds.
For well over two decades David’s passion and talent for design has allowed him to work with a wide range of diverse brands. It’s given him a wealth of experience and expertise to draw on. He has always believed that ideas are king and that good design must include both creativity and communication. His many years of experience have taken him into corporate reporting, packaging, advertising, exhibition, signage, illustration, art direction and photography.
Sam has over 25 years marketing and advertising experience, having worked both agency and client side for JWT, Grey, Orange (where she won two Marketing Effectiveness Awards), Mercedes-Benz, Whitbread, Turtle Wax and the NHS, to name but a few. Sam helps our clients refocus their strategic approach by very quickly identifying the current challenges and new opportunities. Working with the client team, she creates a clear strategic framework, bringing together internal and external teams and creating real, dynamic change throughout the business, whatever the sector. A former judge of the Marketing Society’s prestigious ‘Young Marketer of the Year’ award, she is now a Business Leader member of The Society.
An award-winning and widely published writer, Julia has worked as an editor, journalist and columnist for many broadsheet newspapers and magazines, including The Independent and The Simple Things. Winner of the Bradt/Independent on Sunday’s Travel Writer of The Year Award in 2013 and shortlisted for Salt Publishing’s Scott Prize for a short story collection in 2012, she also writes regular food advertorial for London and Berkshire Food and Drink magazines. Julia is more than comfortable with conventional, technical and unconventional copywriting challenges.
